What this draft covers

This page describes information handled by the Emergent Assembly website and Logos Construct, our multiplayer card game. Emergent Assembly is based in the United States. For privacy questions, contact dylanvalentinehere@gmail.com.

The website is a public preview hosted on Cloudflare. The sections about game features describe functionality present in the project; the services enabled in each released build and the game hosting arrangements still need to be checked before this policy takes effect. The legal operator's name will also be added before the policy is finalized.

When you visit the website

The current website has no account form, payment form, advertising scripts, or website analytics. Fonts and artwork are served with the site rather than loaded from an external font or image service.

The website respects your device's reduced-motion preference. It does not save a separate animation preference in your browser.

Cloudflare Workers with Static Assets hosts this website. Cloudflare can receive technical request information, such as IP addresses, requested files, and request times, when delivering the site. Game download hosting is not yet connected. The final notice must confirm the providers used, their relevant processing, any security cookies, and retention arrangements.

Game accounts and connected services

For email-based game accounts, the account system handles an email address, display name, account identifier, password hash, verification status, and sign-in session information. These support registration, authentication, and account security.

If you choose Discord sign-in or account linking, the integration handles Discord account identifiers, profile names, avatar information, and email information made available through that connection. This is separate from simply opening the Discord link in the website footer.

Friends, invitations, and community features involve information shared with other players. Display names, profile information, rankings, and shared creations can be visible through those features. The current friend and invitation interfaces can also include email information; that visibility needs to be verified for the release and explained clearly before this notice is finalized.

Online play and match information

Multiplayer connections use online services to coordinate players and matches. Those services receive the connection information needed to deliver online play. Match records can contain account or session identifiers, game mode, timing, actions, results, and ranking statistics. Records linked to an account should not be treated as anonymous.

The project also includes match-data collection for game analysis and tools that turn gameplay events into training data for game-playing models. This draft identifies that use explicitly. The actual datasets used, purpose, access, retention, and player choices must be confirmed before the final policy takes effect.

The game includes a networking setting for optional telemetry uploads. That setting concerns those uploads; it should not be understood as a promise that account services or multiplayer stop processing the information they need to function. The behavior of client settings and server-side collection needs to be checked together for the released build.

Messages and files you send

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments. We use those to respond, investigate the issue you raise, and keep the records needed to handle it. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or unrelated sensitive information.

Messages and content you post on Discord are handled through Discord's service and its privacy rules. Posts in public community channels may be visible to other members. Use the contact email for private questions about your information.

Access, providers, and storage

Account, multiplayer, and match-data services require hosting and storage. Email providers handle correspondence. Each provider's role, where data is stored, and who can access it need to be recorded for the final policy. Other platforms you choose to use have their own privacy notices.

We have not established retention periods in this draft. The final policy needs to explain how long account records, match events, support messages, logs, and backups are kept, including what happens after an account-deletion request. Removing local game files does not by itself delete online records.

Any international processing, legal bases required by applicable law, and disclosures for legal or security purposes also need to be documented against the actual service. This draft makes no unverified promise that all information stays in the United States or that every record can be deleted immediately.

Your choices and requests

You can use the website without creating a game account. You can reduce the page's motion through your device's accessibility settings and choose whether to follow external links.

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your personal information, or to object to particular uses. Send a request to dylanvalentinehere@gmail.com. We may need to verify that the request relates to you; do not email your password.

The final notice will explain the request process, any applicable exceptions, and how to contact an appropriate privacy regulator. The game's age eligibility and handling of children's information also need to be settled. If your concern involves a child's information, please explain that in your message.

Before this policy takes effect

The final review must confirm the operator, hosting and email providers, data uses, account visibility, retention, security practices, and any age or regional requirements. Any claims about selling data, advertising uses, or sharing for marketing need to be checked rather than assumed.

Once the policy is ready, we will publish its effective date and explain significant updates. This page's draft date is a revision date only. The Terms of Service draft covers the proposed rules for using the website and game.
